HEAVY METAL is a series of knights performances presented in galleries, museums, or urban spaces.
We intend to create situations about the notions of heroism/anti-heroism, heritage, and contemporaneity. We stage ourselves with oversized and light props, in opposition to the heaviness of the metal armors.
We want to make these two silver characters, and unidentified shells live situations out of step with the image that a body in armor gives and the place in which they evolve, in this friction between the inherited history and the current history.
HEAVY METAL was presented for the first time at the Invalides, the army museum, during the Nuit Blanche in Paris.
